Bob Marley’s music has become the soundtrack to our life these days, in the final stages of labor I had his albums playing on repeat, and when we can’t get Z to go to sleep- Bob is always our go-to fix. He’s heard the tunes so much, if one of Marley’s songs is playing at a restaurant, Z yells out “bob-bob!” and starts jamming!

I actually made a rendition of this painting when I was in college, and couldn’t afford to pay for room decor, and it was a very surreal experience to re-create it all these years later as a mom, and have an even more meaningful tie to the words. This line has become my internal mantra whenever I feel like it’s all too much- all the other mamas probably know exactly what I mean.
