Conchita Baby

In Key West, those born and raised here are affectionately dubbed “conchs.” This term, steeped in tradition, resonates deeply with me and my family, embodying a legacy that spans generations. While I’m a proud first-generation conch, my son represents the eighth generation, his roots intricately woven into the vibrant Bahamian heritage that enriches our island home.

The name of my studio, inspired by the Spanish term “conchita,” meaning “little conch,” beautifully captures the essence of my son and our cherished connection to this place. These days, much of my artistic inspiration is drawn from my son and the joyful life we share as a family. With this in mind, I envisioned a collection of original artworks and prints that would bring warmth and charm to any nursery or playroom.

Each design in this collection carries a heartfelt story, a reflection of love, heritage, and the bonds we cherish. I am absolutely thrilled to finally share with you my most personal collection of works to date, each piece a celebration of our journey and the beauty of family life.
